Automation Engineer – Programming

Job Summary

The Automation Engineer will conduct programming duties on assigned projects within the organization. Maintain programming documentation and coordinate efforts with the project team. Assist sales team on potential future projects. Determine programming scope and specification to achieve customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting systems and assist customers
  • Manage programming specification to ensure compliance with all project specific guidelines
  • Develop relationships with vendors/contractors to meet project specifics
  • Continually monitor project schedule to meet project deadlines
  • Deliberate with management, sales, project managers and engineering staff on the possible requirements and procedures for a project
  • Evolve the working practices to improve efficiency and productivity for projects.
  • Production of Functional and Hardware/Software Design Specifications. PLC Software and SCADA configuration, Factory and Site based testing including production of all test documentation and on-site commissioning for projects
  • To contribute to the development of relevant working procedures, templates and standards.
  • Assist automation team with scheduling program duties
  • Participation and technical contribution to customer and sales team
  • Responsibility for programming portion to achieve overall project success

Working Relationships

Process Programmer will maintain good personal relationships with fellow workers, vendors, manufacturers and the general public. They will be expected to participate in meetings, seminars and training as required.

Requirements

Education and Training: To become a Process Programmer, you require a minimum of an associate’s degree in Electrical/Automation/Process Engineering or in other related fields

Communication Skill: Process Programmer must have excellent communication skills which they utilize when managing programming portion of projects and consulting with customers

Critical Thinking: They require good logic and reasoning skills to be able to identify weaknesses and strengths of alternative solutions or approaches to problems

Organizational skill: Their work is often programming PLC/HMI and updating programming documentation so that all automation team members can follow the software and documentation

Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

To be successful a Construction Project Manager must be detail-oriented, thorough, and organized. In this position you will manage large, complex projects while overseeing financial budgets, coordinating contractors, and managing the construction process. You will also oversee overall project schedules and ordering and managing materials to manage and support the execution teams. Support during the bidding phase will also be required to assist with vetting contractors bids and proposals. The PM is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer’s goals while protecting and promoting the interests of Complete Filtration Resources in all matters.

Job Responsibilities

  • Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and other financial estimates
  • Coordinate, plan, and manage schedules for contractors and subcontractors
  • Develop construction project with architect, engineers, and trade workers
  • Order and manage materials and equipment
  • Provide internal reporting and projections for inventory
  • Oversee and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments
  • Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met
  • Perform the tasks of a cost estimator
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • 30% overnight travel is expected on a regular basis with up to 50% during peak times

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field from an accredited university
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a construction manager or in a similar position in construction management
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Able to manage a team of employees and multiple projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; verify contents against purchase orders and quality standards.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Maintain organized inventory and storage areas; conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer provides engineering and technical support to the Wastewater Solutions division of Complete Filtration Resources, Inc. The candidate will be provided with real world, on the job training, while continuing to develop their engineering skills, advanced and specialized training will be provided as needed. The focus of this role is to provide detailed mechanical engineering support for wastewater projects in the Food & Beverage Industry, with most of the focus on plants that produce cheese, butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, etc. This position will be a key part of the process engineering team to develop complex wastewater treatment systems and to provide the necessary engineering documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engineering duties in support of and Senior Project Coordinator to provide necessary project development, design engineering, and project management support.
  • Projects will be varied but primarily for wastewater treatment and water reclamation in the Food & Beverage Industry
  • Provide the design of complex wastewater treatment systems including: Anaerobic digestion, activated sludge, aerobic and anaerobic membrane bioreactors, dissolved air flotation, biological and chemical nutrient reduction, sequencing batch reactor, water reuse, biogas energy recovery
  • Develop design concepts of new wastewater treatment plants or upgrades to existing installations to meet customer and environmental regulations
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to: purchased equipment (such as pumps, valves) specification, selection and review, AutoCAD P&ID development, equipment/piping insulation specification, pipe stress analysis and support design
  • Competence in common productivity software (MS Word, Excel)
  • AutoCAD experience and/or 3D modelling is preferred
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
