Job Responsibilities

Requirements

Education and Training: To become an Assistant Buyer, you require an associate’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience in a purchasing or procurement support role is preferred.

Communication Skill: Assistant Buyer must have strong communication skills.

Critical Thinking: They must be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Organizational Skill: Assistant Buyers need to have strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Automation Project Manager

Job Summary

The Automation Project Manager will conduct/coordinate automation duties on assigned projects within the organization. Maintain project schedules and harmonize efforts with project team. Assist sales team on potential future projects. Determine project scope and specification to achieve customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing sub-contract resource/cost, and ensure compliance with all project specific guidelines and schedule
  • Develop relationships with customers, vendors, & contractors to meet project specifics
  • Continually monitor assigned project staffing requirements, adding or removing assigned personnel as required for project needs
  • Deliberate with management, sales, project managers and engineering staff on the possible requirements and procedures for a project
  • Evolve the working practices to improve efficiency and productivity for projects
  • Incorporate customer Hardware/Software Design Specifications and implement within the project. PLC Software and SCADA configuration, Factory and Site based testing including production of all test documentation and on site commissioning for projects
  • Engineer & design electrical control panels per UL508A utilizing AutoCAD Electrical
  • Contribute to the development of relevant working procedures, templates and standards
  • Procure components to maintain project deadlines
  • Assist with on-site IO testing, contractor management, customer training, and commissioning
  • Participation and technical contribution to customer and sales meetings
  • Manage overall cost on electrical/controls portion of the project
  • Responsibility for electrical/controls portion of overall project success

Communication Skill: Automation Project Manager must have excellent communication skills which they utilize when managing control portion of projects and consulting with customers.

Critical Thinking: They require good logic and reasoning skills to be able to identify weaknesses and strengths of alternative solutions or approaches to problems. Automation Project Manager must be able to troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

Organizational Skill: Their work is often to instruct and direct contractors, thereby making them persons who need excellent organizational skill to perform their duties. They must also be able to identify the details in scope when managing the electrical/controls portion of a project.

Job Summary

Mechanical Engineer provides engineering and technical support to the Wastewater Solutions division of Complete Filtration Resources, Inc. The candidate will be provided with real world, on the job training, while continuing to develop their engineering skills, advanced and specialized training will be provided as needed. The focus of this role is to provide detailed mechanical engineering support for wastewater projects in the Food & Beverage Industry, with most of the focus on plants that produce cheese, butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, etc. This position will be a key part of the process engineering team to develop complex wastewater treatment systems and to provide the necessary engineering documentation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engineering duties are in support of and Senior Project Coordinator to provide necessary project development, design engineering, and project management support.
  • Projects will be varied but primarily for wastewater treatment and water reclamation in the Food & Beverage Industry
  • Provide the design of complex wastewater treatment systems including Anaerobic digestion, activated sludge, aerobic and anaerobic membrane bioreactors, dissolved air flotation, biological and chemical nutrient reduction, sequencing batch reactor, water reuse, biogas energy recovery
  • Develop design concepts of new wastewater treatment plants or upgrades to existing installations to meet customer and environmental regulations
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to purchased equipment (such as pumps, valves) specifications, selection and review, AutoCAD P&ID development, equipment/piping insulation specification, pipe stress analysis and support design
  • Competence in common productivity software (MS Word, Excel)
  • AutoCAD experience and/or 3D modelling is preferred, Inventor and Plant 3D
  • Ceasar II Pipe, stress analysis software used for mechanical design and analysis of piping systems
  • Ability to calculate and analyze the structural equipment and pipe supports
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget

Process Engineer

A Process Engineer will support the Technical Team by conducting and/or coordinating the proper execution of the following responsibilities:

  • Mass balances for all process designs
  • Filtration system sizing & process design
  • Filtration equipment functional descriptions
  • Filtration equipment PIN charts (programming sequences)
  • Assist the Project Managers with software FAT’s
  • Assist the Project Managers with system startup
  • Complete Operator training during project handoff
  • Completion of project handoff
  • Technical service and system audits
  • R&D Coordination and responsibility for Pilot trials
  • Generation of background data for the system design sheet; sizing data, utility data, etc.

Job Responsibilities

  • As a Process Engineer you will need to work closely with the Technical Services Director and the Technical Manager to ensure all projects, issues and service requests are effectively being addressed to support the overall success of the Technical Group.
  • Actively participating in the responsibilities of the technical team
  • As a Process Engineer you will travel to the customer site to gather information, oversee installation of CFR’s solutions, troubleshoot, or provide product training to the customer.
  • Working directly with Inside Sales to schedule pilot tests and technical service visits
  • Continuous research & development of new filtration processes
  • Pilot test protocols and reporting
  • Development of technical tools for system sizing, pricing, & sales proposals

Requirements

Education and Training: To become a Process Engineer, you require a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Experience in the Food and Dairy industry is desired.

Communication Skills: The Process Engineer often communicates with varying positions; operators, purchasers, engineers, welders, and corporate leadership. As such, excellent communication skills are required.

Critical Thinking: The position will require good logic and reasoning skills to be able to identify weaknesses and strengths of any alternative solutions or approaches to problems.

Travel: Domestic and international travel more than 50%.
