Job Summary

The Mechanical Designer role involves drafting P&ID diagrams and creating detailed 3D layouts for skidded process systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk products, including AutoCAD and Inventor, and will handle tasks such as engineering approval drawings, budgetary quotations, bill of materials, and fabrication supervision. Additionally, this position offers the chance to contribute to the sales department by presenting sales proposals, conducting customer follow-ups, overseeing wet testing, installation, and system start-ups.

Requirements

Job Summary

The Membrane Service Technician supports the Technical Team by conducting and/or coordinating field service, startup, commissioning, optimization, troubleshooting, and customer training activities for membrane filtration systems. The position works closely with Process Engineers, Controls Engineers, Project Managers, and customers to help ensure systems are installed, started up, operated, and maintained successfully.

Job Responsibilities

• Support startup and commissioning of UF, MF, NF, RO, and other membrane filtration systems.
• Perform onsite equipment inspections and startup checklist verification.
• Verify system operation against P&IDs, process documents, and design parameters.
• Assist with operator training and development of operational best practices.
• Troubleshoot membrane performance, flux, recovery, cleaning, and process issues.
• Support CIP validation and optimization activities.
• Collect process data and assist with KPI verification and performance testing.
• Assist with process optimization and troubleshooting service visits.
• Maintain startup, commissioning, and technical service documentation.
• Assist in process document creation.
• Support pilot plant setup, operation, and testing.
• Coordinate with controls and mechanical teams during commissioning and service activities.
• Assist customers with membrane maintenance, operational troubleshooting, and warranty support.
• Generate service reports and communicate recommendations to customers and internal teams.

Requirements

Education and Training: An associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience in process technology, mechanical technology, dairy processing, food science, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the food, dairy, or membrane filtration industry is desired.

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and technical documentation are required. Experience with industrial process equipment, membrane filtration systems, instrumentation, or CIP systems is preferred.

Communication Skills: The Membrane Service Technician will communicate with operators, maintenance personnel, engineers, project managers, vendors, and customer leadership. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, including the ability to provide clear customer training and service documentation.

Critical Thinking: The position requires sound logic and reasoning skills to identify process issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and support effective troubleshooting in the field.

Work Environment: The position requires comfort working in active industrial facilities and around operating process equipment. The ability to follow customer and company safety requirements is required.

Travel: Domestic and international travel more than 50%.

Job Summary

The function of a Project Manager (PM) is to manage and support the operations on projects. Primary responsibility will be to ensure the shops and supervisor and crew have the materials, equipment, and information necessary to complete the job. The PM is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer’s goals while protecting and promoting the interests of Complete Filtration Resources in all matters.

Job Responsibilities

• Visit the site to familiarize yourself with the site conditions and scope of work.
• Assist Management in review of contracts and proposals.
• Review specifications and scope of work.
• Prepare and distribute submittals.
• Manage project specific materials and equipment purchases including: sourcing, maintaining vendor relations, ordering and tracking deliveries.
• Prepare a cost sheet for each project within ERP system to maintain purchasing control.
• Take initiative and problem solve to address unforeseen challenges or opportunities.
• Support shop in expediting schedule, and completion of shop paperwork.
• Assist in the preparation of and review all fabrication drawings.
• Support field in expediting schedule and completion of field paperwork.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Develop project specific Safety Programs in coordination with Safety Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of and review all controls functional descriptions.
• Prepare and submit Change Orders to the customer.
• Attend project meetings with General Contractor, Owner and Architect.
• Attend and setup punch list walk-through as needed; compile the punch list and forward to Supervisor.
• Directly responsible for system commissioning and ensuring the right resources are onsite.
• Provide required close out information to the client at the end of the project.
• Make sure the project is 100% closed out with Accounting.
• Be constantly alert for future work with the Client.

Requirements

Education and Training: To become a Project Manager, you require an Associate’s degree or practical experience in Engineering, project management or related fields.
