Summary
As part of Mercurius Production’s strategic process expansion, the company, a leading European producer of high-purity lactoferrin, initiated a targeted upgrade of its ceramic ultrafiltration (CUF) system.
In close collaboration with the client, Complete Filtration Resources (CFR) analyzed the bottleneck and specified the necessary modifications to achieve the desired production capacity increase. CFR provided detailed specifications, selected and specified the new components, produced 3D manufacturing drawings, and delivered the updated automation software.
The physical modification of the unit was carried out by Mercurius and the project was executed within weeks from order placement. The upgrades were implemented thereafter, ensuring that within a few months of the order, the updated plant was fully operational and producing in accordance with the new capacity requirements.
